A Little Introduction

Waste is not a waste, if utilized properly, it can be a resource.

We, the students of the Lovely Professional University have 13 hostels, each having its individual mess, which have a lot of food wastage. So in order to convert this waste into resource, we are planning to setup a biogas plant for utilizing kitchen waste in our university.

It all started when Dr. Ashok Kalbag visited our university in an entrepreneurial summit. That was the day when we came to know about Vigyan Ashram, a place where ideas become reality.

Following six students were selected from our university for this summer training program in Vigyan Ashram-

Alfia, Yashpal Sethi, Ravindra Kalpi, Sai Kumar, Shubham Mukherjee and Jawanjal Krupal.

We all are working together and learning all the techniques required for a biogas plant setup.
